We've been using IT-Conductor for SAP APM and automating SAP Basis tasks like managing transports and system refreshes. For years, the platform helped us keep our systems stable while cutting down on manual work. It's a game changer! What really stood out to me was how flexible and innovative the platform is, especially with the continuous improvements and new features being rolled out.

Also, since IT-Conductor is cloud-based, we didn't have to invest in extra infrastructure, which would've been necessary with other monitoring tools. That’s been a huge cost savings for us, especially since we’ve been using the platform for several years now.

IT-Conductor operated on a secured proxy server behind a customized firewall that can be defined by us. It actively retrieves a set of instructions for carrying out monitoring & automation of our Azure workloads. It also follows brilliant RBAC which dedicates access to objects based on their class, operation type and object values. Since IT-Conductor uses proxy and does not access our monitored system directly, we need to ensure that we stop the gateway so that it will block their access completely. These monitored systems are configured using IT-Conductor agent and so there is no direct user login approach. IT-Conductor was agentless, so we didn't have to install an agent on each server which most of the alternative solutions required. We needed to monitor over 200 systems quickly and did not want to spend weeks to get up and running. In this platform, we relied on built in features for system discovery, health checks, alerting, and recovery and just needed to spend time on configuration.

I'm very impressed by this platform and how the organization offers application performance management as a service. Coverage is in depth and works with most SAP ecosystems our team supports, including NetWeaver, ABAP, JAVA, PI/PO, BusinessObjects, MS SQL Server, DB2 UDB, HANA, ASE, and SAP MaxDB. A few templates were included which made getting set up fairly easy.

IT-Conductor has been a tremendous value to us, in ensuring stability of our system. It helped us save cost in infrastructure since we do not have to invest in additional hardware that would have been incurred if we choose other monitoring product. It also enable our team members to be more productive and perform other functions since IT-Conductor does not require any dedicated resource to maintain and monitor. Have explored other tools: Solution Manager, Dynatrace, Flexbridge, Xandria, AppDynamics

Each tool is can be used for similar functions but is slightly different in what it does and how it is approached. Most require installing and configuring on each system and a dedicated team to manage the tool, and is specialized towards a particular landscape. IT-Conductor has reduced our reliance on dedicated teams and saves time with setup, which can be lengthy.
